Lily is sick...

Lily has had a tough couple of weeks. She was being treated for a bladder infection and she has just gotten worse over the past week. She had to go in to the Dr. last night and have x-rays and today she had to have surgery to have a stone removed from her bladder. Grandma says she is a high maintenance dog, but I like her anyway. Lily is pretty tolerant of me, I like to grab her hair and get really close to her. She will sometimes lick my face or fingers, and she doesn't get mad or upset with me when I try to pull her hair... (yet). Lily wouldn't leave mom's side this morning, so dad was in charge of entertaining me for part of the morning. I snuggled with Lily and mom on the couch before we took Lily into the vet's office.

Grandmas are GREAT!

We went to see great grandma Jo on Sunday. She thinks I am a big boy and quite heavy and hard to hang on to. But she likes to hold me anyway, mom just stands near in case I try to wiggle free. The last time I went to see great-grandma I took her finger and put it in my mouth for her to feel my teeth (so I bit her)! This visit I tried to grab her hair and pull it and touched her face too. Grandma Jo says she thinks I will be "creeping and walking" soon. She says she wishes she could see me, I'm sure she would think I am cute!

What mess?

Now that I've become more mobile, I like to get into whatever I can get my hands on. I head towards Lily, the phone, the remote and any paper that I can reach. I put it in my mouth and crumple it up. Grandma Margaret let me play with paper at her house on Saturday, so mom & dad decided to capture the mess on camera!

Swing!!

Grandma and Grandpa Larson got a swing for me and hung it from their clothesline. We tried it out when I was there over memorial weekend. It went pretty good, but my dad pushed me a little too hard and I bobbed and knocked my head. I wasn't hurt, but I wasn't having at much fun as they thought I would. We also have a swing for our house too, but we have to put it up.

Toy basket

I'm now moving around and Grandma brought out my basket of toys to the living room. I now like to pull everything out and check out each toy. Mom tries to pick them up when I go to sleep for the night...little does she know, I'll just take them back out in the morning!

Lets go fishing

Grandma Larson got me a fishing rod, I'm a bit too little to use it yet, but it made for a photo opportunity.

Mother's Day

This is mom's first mother's day! I (with the help of Dad) got her earrings to match her mother and child pendant.

6 months old

Now that I move around and will not stay in one place for any period of time....mom opted to take my montly picture on the floor instead of next to the bear. I don't cooperate for photos like I used to.

Sleeping beauty

Dad took a picture of me sleeping on mom's hand...isn't that sweet?
Mom took a picture of me sleeping on dad's chest...he closed his eyes too, but I know he wasn't sleeping!

Grandma and Grandpa Bergstrom

Dad tries to get pictures with Grandma and Grandpa B. holding me and of course Lily too. This one was taken one afternoon when they were here to visit me, and Dad too, while my mom was at work.

Say Cheese!

My mom doesn't really like this picture, but I thought it was cute. We look like a deer in the headlights!!

Grease the baby!

Literally!!! My doctor said I have eczema, so this is one of the many greasings I get each week. My Doctor said that CRISCO is one thing that works great for this condition, mom uses Vaseline also. I enjoy grabbing the container and sticking my hands in it to make a mess!!

sitting pretty

I'm at grandma Larson's sitting on a blanket, mom HAD to take my picture with the flowery background!
