Baby in Basket

Mom was trying to recreate my Easter photos without snot running down my face. I was much more into photos when I didn't feel well. I was a bit too distracted to fully cooperate with her, but I guess I posed for a couple of them. The 2nd photo is one mom tried to get creative with, I just gave her a blank look, but it shows how I am liking to sit up and check things out. It also shows the dry blotches on my skin (hopefully summer will help with this).

Sitting up

Uncle Willie took me off of King and put me on the floor and I sat all by myself without tipping over or falling backwards. Mom sat me up later for dad to see my new accomplishment. They think I'm going to be crawling soon.....I am not sure, but I will go wherever Lily goes, since she is one of my favorite things to look at. Oh, I'm loving food now. I will whine if mom doesn't get it in my mouth fast enough.

Go horsie!!....well, go King!

Here I am with King. My uncle Willie thought he would put me on top of King just to be cute, it turns out that King is quite tolerant. We weren't sure how he would adjust to my arrival, since he's older and not as adaptable. King was wagging his tail when I was sitting on top of him and mom was telling him how a good boy he was....so I think he was okay with the whole ordeal!

5 months

Can you believe I'm 5 months old already? Mom is having more of a challenge with me when it comes to taking pictures. I don't stay in one spot for very long and I tip over when reaching for something I want.

Easter Sunday

Here I am on Easter Sunday. I was up most of the night on Saturday and we didn't make it to sunrise services like mom had planned. We went to later church services, and I wasn't the good little boy like I had been before, but I wasn't feeling good, and I wanted everyone to know. Later that day we were taking photos and I was enjoyable to be around, just as long as nobody wiped my nose. I really don't like having my nose wiped. Mom put me in this basket and I really enjoyed it, so much so that I was chewing on the edge and attempting to pull it toward me.

Mom tried to get a nice shot of me close up and sitting on the couch......but since I've started to roll over, I am not content to sit where I am placed. I know I can move around now...so watch out!

Mommy, Lily and ME again

Lily looks like she isn't having fun, but she crawled up with mom and me when we were sitting on the couch.

Just for fun

Mom had to take Lily outside to go potty, and didn't want to leave me in the house, so I went out and visited Dad when he was in the hot tub. I was wrapped up in my bath towel and was quite warm. It was a nice and sunny day outside. Mom came in and had a silly idea of putting a diaper on my head. Either way, I'm cute....I don't need props, don't you think?

Where is Daddy?

I was playing with daddy and I slid down around his neck...so mom took yet another picture! Then I decided to lean forward and slobber on his face!

First foods

On the left is my first experience with cereal, I certainly made a mess, as I put my hands in my mouth as mom was feeding me.

On the right, is my first taste of carrots. I wasn't impressed with the first bite, but the subsequent spoonfuls went much better. I now will eat about 1/2 jar of veggies. I don't make as much of a mess as the first attempts, but mom now puts a bigger bib on me, instead of me making a mess all over my clothes or sitting in my high chair just in my diaper. I eat much better in the high chair, even though I am still kind of little for it....mom props me up with a towel! Mom has learned not to wear light colored clothing when feeding me, and I have learned to swallow the food instead of spitting it out.

4 months

I am 4 months old today. We had a busy weekend. We spent the weekend in Kelliher at Grandma and Grandma Bergstromg and then came back home. Mom and Dad brought me in to have my pictures taken....and I was a very good boy (mom was worried!). I was snuggling with my dad after we got home, and I left him a little present on his sweater! Dad insisted that mom take a photo of it, I didn't see the big deal....everyone pukes, right? Anyway....I also went to the doctor got shots again. Mom said I did much better than my 2 month shots, but it hurt either way. My doctor said I could start eating food if mom and dad wanted to try it.

I'm ready for food!

I like to put things in my mouth, mom gives me a spoon or a cup and I put them right to my mouth. We are waiting to talk to my doctor to see if it is okay for me to start eating real food. I drool all over the place too, so if you hold me........ be prepared to get wet!

Snuggling with Dad

Snuggling with my dad at Grandma and Grandpa Larson's. Our outfits kind of coordinate. I refuse to keep socks on.....I will wiggle my feet to get the socks off or just pull them off with my hands. Mom says I have stinky feet....but I don't know what she is talking about!

Great Grandma Jo

Here I am with my great grandma! She said I am heavy....I guess she is right! I sat really nice with her and we both sort of smiled for a photo.

Mommy, Lily and ME

Here is one of me with Mom and Lily that was taken in January...so it is a little out of sequence. Lily feels a bit left out these days and really likes her alone time with mom; although she takes what she can get. I think she is just waiting for the day when I can chase her around!

3 months

Can you believe I'm 3 months old already. I am getting big...mom likes to take my picture each month next to the bear, to note my growth. I'm quite the talker and I love to smile at everyone!
It looks like I am praying, but I truthfully put my hands together and take one to put the other one in my mouth. Mom and Dad have tried to stop me from sucking my fingers/thumb, but I insist, so they have given up. I am content when I can suck on my fingers!
