My New Toy

This is a clever invention...mom and dad put it together for me a few weeks ago. I am really enjoying spending time in my exersaucer. Mom actually has a little free time now and then, since I can entertain myself now. I learned how to spin around to look at all of the toys. I really like the ones that I can put in my mouth, and get drool and gunk all over. I am being better for my mom and dad these days (or so I am told). I even took a pretty good nap for my dad last week, but I'm not sure if that will last. I am getting more into a routine in the evenings these days; take a bath, splash water all over, get my pj's on, eat and sleep. I don't sleep through the night though, but at least mom gets a little rest and a break from me. I'm outgrowing clothes like crazy...and some things are still really big on me. Those people who make clothing sizes don't know what they are talking about, not all clothes fit me the same. Mom said it is the same where she shops too (which coincidentally is the same places I shop). Ha Ha

Oh, the latest news is that I have rolled from my tummy to my back twice now......although mom has yet to see this major accomplishment. Dad is enjoying spending time with me too, he feels like a real dad...he loves to take me places and he likes all of the attention I bring to him. I guess I'm a chick magnet?!!

Just being cute

Mom loves taking photos of me at eye level. I guess she read it in a magazine to get down to the level of the kids, for great shots. I think she might be right, since I look right at the camera when she takes my picture from this angle. Grandma wonders why mom likes these types of photos.

Mommy and ME

Here is one of mom and I. She took this herself, I think she knew what she was doing, since we both look okay in the picture. We spent the afternoon together and I was in a really good mood, so mom wanted to capture the moment. I can't believe how many "flashes" I see these days.

Will you be my Valentine?

Who can resist this face? I was really happy about the valentine I got from my mom, so much so, that I INSISTED she take a photo of me with it. In the smaller photo it appears I am praying for the valentine to be filled with Chocolate....and it was! (mom needed a photo prop) Actually, I am just trying to put my fingers in my mouth, and it looks like I am praying, or looking innocent. I am really developing quite a personality and love to be talked to. I also have now discovered that I get scared when Lily barks too loudly or I hear loud noises. Mom reassures me that everything is okay, but I have my doubts!!

I spent the day with Grandma yesterday, she took Lily and I to Clearbrook for the day, so my mom and dad could have an uninterrupted dinner for Valentine's. I think they think I'm a lot of work....well that is partly true. I do have a cranky time, and it just so happens to fall right around dinner time.

Dad's birthday

Here I am, posing for a photo with my dad and my dog, Lily. It was Dad's birthday and mom wanted to get a photo for dad's new "daddy" picture frame. Dad insisted Lily be in the photo too...and I didn't complain, since I really am starting to like her.

2 months old

Can you believe I am 2 months old already? Where does the time go? My uncles gave me this bear when I was born, and mom likes to take my photo next to it. One day I will be bigger than the bear! I also had my 2 month shots today, probably the reason I wouldn't smile for my mommy, but she tried!

Ok, not the greatest photo, but what can I say. Not a "good face" day. I was plagued with a case of newborn acne which turned into dermatitis, which took a visit to my doctor to find out what my mom could put on my face to make it look better. I actually smiled the week before, but this is the first smile mom got on camera. It was also Christmas eve, so the family got to see my cute smile. Now, I smile whenever someone talks to me or looks my direction.

Baptism

I was baptized on Sunday, February 5, 2006, which is also my great grandpa Bennie's birthday. I was a really good boy and I was awake during the baptism and then fell asleep shortly after. I on my best behavior the rest of the day and I was enjoying being held by family and friends.
